Xray migration for a toll mobility company
Migration of several thousand tests to Xray for Jira at a toll mobility company.
At a toll mobility company, several test management tools coexisted without providing a unified view of progress in Jira. Ovyka supported the implementation of Xray and the migration of existing data, bringing tests, requirements and progress together in a single environment.
The challenge
Scattered information limited shared visibility across teams and required manual reconciliation. The migration needed to preserve several thousand tests while making their progress directly accessible in Jira.
The approach
XML data from the existing tools was transformed for migration into Xray. The new environment brought test management closer to project tracking and made progress, traceability and responsibilities easier to understand.
The published results
The case study reports a successful migration and broader adoption of the platform. Following the migration, the number of recorded test issues doubled, indicating that the tool had become more widely embedded in the teams’ working practices.
