Personal data
Privacy policy
The website limits collection to the information needed to receive and answer messages and to protect the form against abuse.
Data controller
Ovyka publishes the website. Vincent Kopaczewski, known as Vincent Kopa, is the data controller for processing related to the contact form. He can be contacted at contact@vincentkopa.com — opens in a new tab.
Purposes and legal basis
Submitted data is used to record the request, pass it to Vincent, enable a reply, prevent abusive submissions and secure the service. This processing is based on the controller’s legitimate interest in receiving and handling messages addressed to him and protecting the form.
Data processed
The form requires an email address and a message. Name, company, phone number and subject are optional. When provided, the phone number is used only to answer the enquiry or call the person back in that context. On the Contact page, Cloudflare Turnstile loads when the form opens and may process technical signals such as the IP address, User-Agent, browser and TLS connection characteristics, site key and page origin. Rate limiting uses a temporary technical fingerprint of the IP address; the raw IP address is not stored with the contact request.
Recipients and service providers
Requests are intended for Vincent Kopa. Cloudflare provides hosting, the D1 database and Turnstile verification. After the request is stored in D1, Resend sends Vincent’s mailbox a notification containing every submitted field, together with the request date and technical reference. Google, as provider of that Gmail mailbox, therefore also processes the notification and any resulting correspondence.
Some processing may involve transfers outside the European Economic Area. Depending on the provider and processing involved, these transfers are governed by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses. The safeguards are described in the Cloudflare commitments — opens in a new tab, the Resend DPA — opens in a new tab and the Google Privacy Policy — opens in a new tab.
Retention
Copies held in D1 and in the mailbox are deleted when they are no longer needed and no later than three years after the request is received. Resend states that email data is retained for thirty days — opens in a new tab. Technical rate-limiting data expires at the end of the short window used to prevent abuse.
Your rights
You may request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, restrict its processing or object to its processing on grounds relating to your particular situation. To exercise these rights, email contact@vincentkopa.com — opens in a new tab. Proportionate proof of identity may be requested.
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL — opens in a new tab.
Cookies and analytics
Cloudflare Web Analytics measures visits, viewed pages, general referral sources and load performance in aggregate. According to Cloudflare, this service does not collect or use visitors’ personal data, store cookies or data in the browser’s local storage, or create individual profiles. Form contents are never sent to this tool. For more information, see Cloudflare Web Analytics — opens in a new tab.
The site owner uses Google Search Console to monitor indexing and the visibility of public pages in Google Search results. No Google Analytics script, advertising tool or profiling tool is loaded on this website.
The website also loads Turnstile solely to secure the form. Cloudflare acts as a processor in providing this service and may be a controller for certain processing intended to maintain and improve its detection, as explained in its Turnstile Privacy Addendum — opens in a new tab.
Automated decision-making and security
The form makes no decision that produces legal or similarly significant effects for you. Technical and organisational measures restrict access to requests and reduce abuse and message loss, although no system can guarantee zero risk.
Updates
This policy may be updated when the website’s operation or service providers change. The version published on this page is the applicable version.
